Apostille and document recognition between Spain and Albania
Spain and Albania are parties to the Hague Convention of 1961. When a document bears the Hague Apostille, the authenticity of the signature, seal or the capacity of the signing authority is certified for presentation in the other country and, in many cases, no additional legalisation is required.
When the document is already apostilled, the sworn translation may include the Apostille as an inseparable part of the document. In any case, it is advisable to confirm whether the receiving authority requires any additional formal requirement.
Each sworn translation requires:
1. Official signature and seal
Each sworn translation is issued with an official signature and seal, in accordance with the applicable formal requirements.
2. Statement of accuracy
The translation includes a statement of accuracy in relation to the original document, as part of its formal requirements.
3. Preparation in accordance with formal requirements
The document is prepared in line with the format and formal requirements applicable in each case.
4. Preparation for official use
Each translation is prepared for use before institutions, bodies or competent authorities.
Each document has its own context and requirements
